Kayla Marque is a singer songwriter that was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. In 2020 Marque released Brain Chemistry, a transcendent double album that dives deep into themes of self love, trauma and mental health all through the concept of examining the Right Brain and Left Brain. In 2021, Kayla Marque’s side project “The Grand Alliance” with Sur Ellz (Khalil Arcady) and Crl Crrll (Carl Carrell) released its funky, genre bending self-titled debut The Grand Alliance. As the program manager at Diversify the Stage, Kayla Marque is looking to the future. Her next solo project promises to continue in a more playful energy, exploring themes of beauty, pleasure and fantasy, while still grounded by the raw honesty that ties all her music together.
Rapper, singer, and songwriter, Nelo, introduced himself to the world in early 2020. He creatively infuses dope shit, relatable experiences, and life lessons with music. A one of one artist, Nelo, has quickly made a name for himself. In 2023, he was named Denver Westword’s best in Hip-Hop. With his expansive ability to consistently engineer new sounds, he is definitely an artist to watch for and work with.
Monica The Great is a first-generation Latina/Hispanic hailing from Rialto, CA (The IE). Based out of both LA and Denver, her second home, she is known as an artist, rapper, singer, songwriter, MC, and a powerful voice for the people. As the owner of Spread Love, an organization dedicated to clothing, feeding, and providing necessities for those in need in every city she visits, Monica tirelessly champions for communities everywhere.
Originally from Florida, Mike’s Paradize spent some time in Alabama before finally relocating to Denver, where he currently resides. “Everywhere I go, I take a little piece with me,” the singer said of the experience.” He also stated that his southern origins have provided a flavorful background in music that have shaped his take on soul and R&B music. Additionally, Mike’s Paradize takes inspiration from classic ’90s R&B as well as artists such as Jamie Foxx, Ginuwine and Chris Brown.
