KUVO Jazz and THE DROP are collaborating for an exciting new project! Funded by the Denver Arts and Venues P.S. You Are Here (PSYAH) grant program, Beat Box is a community art project that aims to showcase Denver’s vibrant past and present music scene, and to elevate local artists through the creation of six utility box murals near the Buell Public Media Center.
Each mural will feature the portrait of a prominent historical or active Denver musician to raise public awareness about their artistic contributions and enhance community pride.
